KMSG is proud to be an LGBT-owned and operated enterprise led by a first-generation college graduate. We are committed to reflecting the principles and values of equity, inclusion, and belonging espoused by our clients. To date, 86% of KMSG’s client work has been for projects led by women and people of color and we’re proud to work with a team of strategic advisors and partners who reflect that diversity. We prioritize the wellbeing of our clients, partners, and staff, and operate under a four-day workweek model.

KMSG is invested, literally, in helping build engagement for – and investments in – movements for change where funding and support are needed most.

We were founded on the principles of community support and engagement. We donate 10% of revenue after expenses to movements, nonprofit organizations, and community service providers – 2X the amount required by law of philanthropic charities and foundations. To date, we’ve donated $120,000 to nonprofit organizations through the KMSG Social Impact Award and The Etolia Fund.

"KMSG is a next-generation firm that is leading innovative and necessary reforms [to the social impact sector]. Its early success and profitability from day one are a successful case study and counter-narrative to the misguided notion that new businesses must choose between profit and social responsibility."

Stanley Richards, President & CEO, The Fortune Society

  • "One of the things I loved was the way in which Kindred opened the retreat. It completely set the tone for having an open and honest discussion, making it so much easier to navigate difficult conversations. Each topic brought the team closer together. By the end, I felt everyone was fully invested in the take-aways, which include both long and short-term items. This served as a perfect jumping-off point to begin the undertaking of a longer strategic planning process."

Leonard Chavis, Vice President of Administration and Compliance, The Fortune Society
