How do we broadcast and coordinate the logistics of an organization’s marquee annual event?

Context

Foreign Policy for America is a forefront voice for change in the global diplomacy space, working to strengthen the ties between the United States and foreign leaders, countries, and policies. In 2022, they hosted a Leadership Summit with the hopes of bringing together some of the most influential leaders in the foreign policy space.

FP4A asked KMSG to support with:

  • Planning, publicizing, and executing the FP4A 2022 Leadership Summit: Leading With Diplomacy

    • Crafting the vision of the Summit, ensuring it aligned with their mission and donor/social media growth goals

  • Outreach and coverage support across social media channels, including monitoring Twitter and handling the Live Video

  • Collecting and summarizing feedback from staff, board members, and attendees on the successes and challenges from the event, with recommendations to improve future events

  • Ad hoc social media content creation for their Twitter and other platforms, as needed

Action & Impact

KMSG accomplished the following:

  • Executed an event with over 200 attendees, including prominent voices such as:

    • A kickoff reception with Deputy National Security Advisor Jon Finer 

    • A keynote from Under Secretary of State Bonnie Jenkins

    • A panel discussions with Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Sasha Baker

    • Members of Congress: Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), Reps. Sara Jacobs (D-CA-51), Colin Allred (D-TX-32), Jason Crow (D-CO–06), Susan Wild (D-PA–07), Tom Malinowski (D-NJ-07), and Joaquin Castro (D-TX-20).

  • Led and handled engagement on social media from various Members of Congress, Ambassadors, and politicians, including press coverage from POLITICO

  • Post-Summit support and feedback analysis to guide future live events held by FP4A
